Security Tips for FCBUSA Mobile Banking

Mobile banking can be a safe and convenient banking option. Only use the FCBUSA Mobile banking app available in application stores, or the mobile website at m.FCBUSAawaii.com.

Make sure you have the most current updates and patches for your phone before installing apps. Engage your auto locking mechanism and use a password to unlock it. Never store passwords or other private information on your mobile device.

For your protection, we recommend the following:

  • Configure your phone to clear its cache.
  • Install anti-virus/malware software.
  • Do not use a phone that is "jail broken" (has original wireless carrier's software removed).
  • Disable Bluetooth when not in use.
  • Don’t auto connect to any wireless network. Ensure that wireless connections are safe and secure.

Timed Log-Off: Always log out when you are done with your FCBUSA Mobile session. Even though convenient, auto login or remembering passwords should not be used. If you forget to log off, your mobile banking session will automatically time out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
